Microsoft has revealed the upcoming additions to its Xbox Game Pass subscription service for May and June, including the major racing title Forza Horizon 6. Several other games, including Dead Static Drive and Remnant 2, will join the service starting May 20th, while a handful of titles are scheduled to leave.

Facts First

  • Forza Horizon 6 is scheduled to join Xbox Game Pass
  • Multiple games join the service starting May 20th, including Dead Static Drive, Remnant 2, and My Friend Peppa Pig
  • Final Fantasy 6 and Jurassic World Evolution 3 are set to join on June 2nd
  • Five titles are leaving the service, including Metaphor: ReFantazio and Persona 4 Golden

What Happened

Microsoft announced the slate of games coming to its Xbox Game Pass subscription service in May and June. Forza Horizon 6 is scheduled to join the service. On May 20th, Dead Static Drive, My Friend Peppa Pig, Pigeon Simulator, Remnant 2, and Winter Burrow will become available on various Game Pass tiers. Luna Abyss joins on May 21st, Escape Simulator on May 26th, Echo Generation 2 and The Outer Worlds: Spacer's Choice Edition on May 27th, and Crashout Crew and Kabuto Park on May 28th. Final Fantasy 6 and Jurassic World Evolution 3 will join on June 2nd. Against the Storm, Crypt Custodian, Metaphor: ReFantazio, Persona 4 Golden, and Spray Paint Simulator are leaving the Game Pass service.

Why this Matters to You

If you subscribe to Xbox Game Pass, your library of available games will expand significantly over the next month. You will gain access to a highly anticipated racing game, Forza Horizon 6, alongside a diverse mix of new titles ranging from adventure games to simulators. This could provide new entertainment options without requiring additional purchases. However, you may lose access to five existing titles, including some popular games like Metaphor: ReFantazio and Persona 4 Golden, if you haven't finished playing them.

What's Next

The new games will become available on their specified dates throughout May and June. The five departing titles will leave the service, likely on a date that has not been specified in the announcement. Microsoft may continue to update the Game Pass catalog with further additions and removals in subsequent months.
