Greenwich Entertainment has acquired the U.S. distribution rights to 'Light Pillar', the debut feature film from Chinese director and screenwriter Xu Zao. The deal was unveiled at the Cannes Film Market and was negotiated by Jasper Basch of Greenwich and Sebastien Chesneau of Cercamon, who represented the filmmakers. The film had its world premiere in the Perspectives section of the Berlin Film Festival. It was produced by Lu Xiaowei for the Shanghai-based Fengduan Pictures.
